As a family, we’ve fully embraced our new normal—ADVENTURE!

With wide eyes and open hearts, we recently leapt from sunny South Africa to snowy Canada, and let me tell you, it’s been one wild, unforgettable ride!

​

If you know our family, you know there’s never a dull moment. Uprooting ourselves wasn’t easy—we left behind 20 years of memories, our home, jobs, family, and everything we’d built together. We may be five strong, but our village is a hundred, maybe a thousand deep!

This adventure required sacrifice, tears, unexpected emotions, and a few missed “firsts.” But we dove in headfirst, with two bags each, endless flights, sleepless nights, and hearts full of hope. Now, we’re living the dream—holding the sun in our hands, chasing the northern lights, braving -40°C (yes, frostbite and all!), and soaking up every new moment and memory.

We’re not just surviving—we’re truly living. Taking nothing for granted, and embracing every bit of this epic journey!
